Plain English summary: We collect only what we need to run the service. We don't sell your data. Your project ideas are yours. We use Firebase for auth and storage, Groq for AI, and Dodo Payments for billing — all reputable third parties with their own privacy commitments.
Who We Are
Plannomial ("we", "us", "our") operates the website plannomial.netlify.app and the Plannomial dashboard. We are the data controller for information collected through the Service.

What We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the Service:

- Payment card numbers or banking information (handled entirely by Dodo Payments)
- Location data beyond country-level (from analytics)
- Device identifiers or persistent tracking cookies beyond GA4
- Any biometric data
How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect to:
- Authenticate you and provide access to the Service
- Generate AI roadmaps from your project descriptions
- Store your saved projects when you are signed in
- Track your credit balance for signed-in accounts
- Upgrade or downgrade your account based on payment events
- Respond to support requests
- Improve the product using aggregated, anonymized analytics
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your project descriptions for AI model training. Your inputs are sent to Groq's API and processed transiently — they are not retained by Plannomial beyond what is necessary for the immediate request.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
Plannomial relies on the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
Firebase (Google)
We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore for login and data storage. Your email, name, and project data are stored in Firebase. Google's data processing terms apply. Firebase Privacy
Groq API
Your project descriptions are sent to Groq to generate roadmaps. Groq processes this data transiently. We do not control Groq's data handling beyond their published terms. Groq Privacy
Dodo Payments
All payment processing is handled by Dodo Payments. We receive only payment and Pro access status webhooks — we never see your full card details or banking information. Dodo Privacy
Google Analytics (GA4)
We use GA4 to track page views, feature usage, and conversion events. This data is aggregated and anonymized. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in Google Cloud. Firebase enforces encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We apply security rules to ensure users can only access their own data. No other users can read your projects or account details.
Despite our best efforts, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your Firestore data within 30 days.
Aggregated analytics data (not personally identifiable) may be retained longer for product improvement purposes.
Subscription payment records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to certain uses of your data

Note: Requesting account deletion does not refund an active Pro access period. See our Refund Policy.
Children's Privacy
Plannomial is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately at plannomial@gmail.com and we will delete the information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email.
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
